2. End of March excellent PhD students’ application materials to be submitted; their defense to be completed ahead of schedule
3. By April 3rd (inclusive) Doctoral dissertation to be completed and submitted to thesis review system
By April 11th (inclusive) master thesis to be completed and submitted to thesis review system
April 12th – June 30th thesis submission system to be suspended
4. By May 26th (inclusive) thesis to be revised upon the review comments; defense to be completed,
5. From May 27th commencement ceremony to be held by schools
6. By May 30th (inclusive) thesis to be revised upon the defense comments; degree application materials to be submitted to the school (or department)
7. By June 3rd (inclusive) degree application materials to be submitted by the school (or department) to the university
8. Middle to late June degree application to be reviewed by all academic degree sub-committees
9. The end of June the second university academic degree committee meeting of 2025 to be held; thereafter, degree certificates to be granted
The Third
1. Oct. 13th – Oct. 31st Bachelor’s Degree application system to be launched
2. By Sept. 5th (inclusive) Doctoral dissertation to be completed and submitted to thesis review system
By Sept. 12th (inclusive) master thesis to be completed and submitted to thesis review system
Sept. 13th – Nov. 30th thesis submission system to be suspended
3. By Oct. 27th (inclusive) thesis to be revised upon the review comments; defense to be completed,
4. By Oct. 31st (inclusive) thesis to be revised upon the defense comments; degree application materials to be submitted to the school (or department)
5. By Nov. 4th (inclusive) degree application materials to be submitted by the school (or department) to the university
6. Middle to late November degree application to be reviewed by all academic degree sub-committees
7. Beginning of December the third university academic degree committee meeting of 2025 to be held; thereafter, degree certificates to be granted; commencement ceremony to be held by schools
Tips:
1. All departments shall carry out their own blind reviews. Given the duration for blind review (generally 30-40 days) and plagiarism detection (1-2 days), degree applicants are requested to schedule their time, finalize the thesis, and upload it to the system in time.
2. Any withdrawal of application submission due to personal reasons should be requested before the due time of the materials submission by the school, and it will be informed to both the school and university Academic Degree Committee. Along with a graduation submission, the degree application must also be withdrawn simultaneously. Requests after the due time for application withdrawal will not be accepted.
